is established in the year Political Science as a special subject (UG) was introduced from 1974. Post graduate department of Political Science started from 1989. The faculties Prof. E. D. Auti, Prof. D. D. Shende, Prof. B. S. Tonde, are working as a UG teachers and additional teachers Smt. Dr. B. R. Nagare, Prof. Smt. K, R. Dandawate are working as visiting PG teachers.  Department has for UG and PG students with Department offers two short term courses such as “Personality Development’’ and Leadership Development to the UG students. At present faculty of the department has one ongoing research project entitled, ’ sanctioned to Prof. B. S. Tonde from B.C.U.D., University of Pune. Department has organized a University level seminar on on 18th March 2005 and STATE LEVEL SEMINAR ON  dated on 12 th January 2012. Faculties have attended 08 National Conferences, 3 Seminars and Workshops.The subject result of University examination are 47.00% in year 2004-05 47.03% in year 2005-06 85.29% in year 2006-07 58.82% in year 2007-08 88.23% in year 2008-09 73.17% in year 2009-2010 respectively and also 13 students passed in first class with distinction from 2004 to 2010. Department has organized various guest lectures and for UG and PG students. |
