Introduction:

R.B.N.B. Junior College is established in the Year 1975. We are running Arts, Science & MCVC streams since the beginning.

At present students strength in Science faculty is 1571 and student’s strength in Arts faculty is 839.
Library facility is available to all students and teachers. All necessary textbooks and reference books are available in the Library. A variety of books for competitive examinations are also available.



Results:

The results of H.S.C. Board examination in academic year
2010 – 2011 are as follows:

Science Faculty : 89.49 %

Arts Faculty : 78.16 %

M.C.V.C. : 94.00 %






Miss. Bhale Gauri Nandkumar stood first scoring 95% marks in Marathi in Pune Divisional Board, Pune.
Special preparation for MHT CET is conducted since 1999. Also we guide students for AIEEE , AIPMT , SOF , DEEPER. Till the date 84 students of XIth Science participated in the Camp conducted by DST, Delhi at I2It Pune. Through MHT-CET 05 students are admitted to Govt. Autonomous Engineering Colleges and 10 students are admitted to Govt. Medical Colleges.



In 2010 – 2011 Miss. Padghan Bhakti and Mr. Dalavi Jitesh have achieved Rs. 500/- Prize and Medals from Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi.

R.B.N.B College has organized various guest lectures & lecture series for Science & Arts students. In Service Teachers Training Program in English was organized in college in the year 2010 – 2011.
Shri. Santosh Karle has delivered a lecture on Carrier Guidance in the month of August 2011. Shri Sambare D. V. was appointed as Subject Expert in Chemistry for State level Training Camp organized by H.S.C. Board, Pune.


H.S.C. Vocational Courses :

H.S.C. Vocational Courses (previously known as M.C.V.C.) were started in the academic year 1992 – 1993.
To train the students in various vocational fields and to fulfill the increasing demand of trained and qualified man – power in various fields, the above courses are introduced. So that students are eligible for wage employment and self employment.
Dairy Technology, Building Maintenance and Medical Laboratory Technician courses are available in this college. All necessary books are available in library.
In Dairy Technology about 150 students are employed in various dairies and about 50 students are self employed. In Building Maintenance about 25 students are self employed and they are successful constructors. In Medical Lab Technician about 50 students are self employed and running their own clinical laboratory.
